KCI Construction Strengthens Communities Through Service in St. Louis and Springfield
KCI Construction continues to invest in the communities where it lives and works, with recent service efforts in both St. Louis and Springfield demonstrating the company’s commitment to giving back through hands-on support and meaningful partnerships.
In St. Louis, KCI team members partnered with Covenant House Missouri for their annual spring cleanup initiative. Volunteers spent the day sorting donations, stocking the organization’s “Cov Closet,” and cleaning several common areas within the facility. Covenant House Missouri provides housing, resources, and support for youth experiencing homelessness, making these efforts critical to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. This marks the third consecutive year KCI has supported the spring cleanup, in addition to participating in the organization’s Holiday Heroes program each December—further strengthening a long-standing partnership focused on making a lasting impact.

Meanwhile, KCI’s Springfield office teamed up with Hickory Hills School for the annual Ozarks Food Harvest Food Fight, supporting Ozarks Food Harvest in the fight against hunger. With Springfield Public Schools being the largest district in the state, the competition was strong—but the Hickory Hills and KCI team rose to the top. Together, they raised $1,620, outperforming more than 40 participating school teams. KCI employees also led the way among business partners, contributing more than any of the 29 companies involved. This year’s Food Fight set a new fundraising record overall, making the team’s contribution part of the most successful drive to date.

From supporting vulnerable youth to helping fight food insecurity, these efforts reflect KCI’s ongoing dedication to building stronger communities—both on and off the jobsite.
