Safety Program Excellence

We’re proud to have developed an in-house safety program that rivals any national program. Our employees consistently recognize it as a standout initiative, and our results speak for themselves. Our Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Safety & Production Huddle Process and Toolbox Talks are proven proactive safety efforts on our jobsites. The safety team also regularly participates in risk workshops and programming to stay ahead of trends and insights, continually refining our approach to keep our worksites secure.

In addition to our in-house training, all employees visiting any jobsite must complete the 10-hour OSHA Training. Project managers, project engineers, project directors, and additional personnel must complete the 30-hour OSHA training as well. We also require our lead personnel on a jobsites to complete more specific courses based on area of hazard and focus of the job like excavation, confined space, first aid/CPR, safety manual training, advanced work zone training, and more.

At KCI Construction, safety isn’t just a program—it’s how we operate and grow together.

At KCI, we pride ourselves on our ability to maintain a high degree of self-performed, high hazard work without incurring significant injuries or damage. One of KCI’s main proactive safety efforts is the Job Safety Analysis(JSA) / Safety & Production Huddle Process. The JSA process helps us build the next generation of leaders and obtain our safety goals. Our safety program is committed to continuous growth, injury prevention and taking advantage of prior
lessons learned on both production and safety.
