Butler Carlton Engineering Building

This project involved a three-phase addition and renovation of the existing Civil Engineering building on the University of Missouri at Rolla campus. Phase one included a steel frame addition to the existing building and relocation of the existing facilities into the new building. Remodeling of the existing building and opening it for use completed phase two of the project. Construction of a three story link between the original and new buildings finalized phase three and the entire project, which included classrooms, offices, laboratories and lecture halls. The large atrium was designed as a teaching tool, and features exposed structural, mechanical, and electrical elements for students to see and study as they walk to and from their classes.
