KCI is performing improvements at the Public Water Supply District No. 2 Water Treatment Plant to modernize the facility’s clarification process and improve long-term treatment reliability. The project includes installation of one new 75-foot-diameter clarifier and removal of three existing 60-foot-diameter clarifiers, including their associated concrete structures. The three existing clarifiers will be replaced with new 60-foot-diameter clarifiers.

In addition to the clarifier improvements, the project includes demolition of existing structures, site piping modifications, chemical feed modifications, electrical upgrades and site work. KCI is coordinating multiple construction disciplines to complete the improvements within the existing water treatment facility while maintaining safe and efficient operations.The project will provide PWSD #2 with upgraded clarification infrastructure and modernized treatment systems to support reliable water treatment operations for the community.
