In late 2020, the Missouri Department of Transportation planned to resurface Manchester Road (Missouri Route 100) between Lindbergh and Big Bend. As a part of that project, MoDOT wanted to make significant improvements to sidewalks along as much of the corridor as possible, including ensuring the sidewalks meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. KCI was contracted to improve 4.7 miles from Big Bend to Lindbergh Blvd., including new pavement (27.9K SY), sidewalks (19.7K SY) & curbs (43.3K LF), utilities (22.6K LF), signals & lighting, pedestrian trail w/ precast underpass, bridge rehabilitation and replacement (11K SF).
